IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO SAY WELCOME

While Jonathan Cofiño has been a vital and active member of our community for some time now, we profile him here for those of us who might not know much about him before he came to Denver.

Jonathan moved to Denver in 2014 in order to work at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner. He examines applications relating to the display of computer graphics. He grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, studied music at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, and later got his PhD in electrical engineering.

He was raised in mostly Reform synagogues, discovering Chabad and other streams of Judaism while attending the University of Miami.

He plays the bassoon and is developing his rock climbing abilities. Learning to ski is next on his to-do list.

He says, "I am incredibly blessed to have realized many of my dreams during my short stay in Denver: landing a full-time job, purchasing a first home (on Forest St, no less!), and meeting the love of my life, Rebecca Ramo! I like that Kohelet can be whatever its membership chooses that it should be, and that no one is any more correct in her level of observance than another member. I look forward to seeing Kohelet grow and flourish!"

Welcome, Jonathan, and Mazel Tov to you and Rebecca!

Barbara Beiser is coordinating this event. We hope many Kohelet members will attend and bring their friends.
We will need more hands to help coordinate the project. If you have not volunteered for a Kohelet committee, this would be a good time to step-up.
We need your help. Kohelet only works with your engagement.

A TOUR OF PROVERBS/MISHLEI WITH NEIEL

Proverbs 9

Wisdom has built her house,
She has prepared the feast,
Mixed the wine, and set the table.
Come and eat my food,
And drink the wine I have prepared.
Give instruction and they will be wiser.
Be cautious in rebuke for you will be alone.
Walk with this understanding.
